The atelier experience
Planning your dream wedding cake deserves to feel like a treat from start to finish. I like to spoil each of my couples with a tasting and consultation at my studio in Hampshire.
Settle in with a cup of tea and make yourselves at home. I’ll bring out a range of freshly baked samples in a range of mouth-watering flavours for you to try, served on my collection of antique fine china. This is a chance for indulgence, pure and simple, so enjoy yourselves! Consultations cost £30 per couple, redeemable against the cost of your finished cake. Phone or Skype consultations are also available for those of you further afield.
During this consultation we’ll discuss your cake requirements, both in terms of personality and practicality. I’ll help you to hone your ideas, and together we’ll shape them into a finessed and fabulous cake design. Every cake I make is completely bespoke and takes its inspiration from you – from the flavours to the flowers and other decorations.
A £100 booking fee is required in order to secure your date, and I’m on hand throughout your planning process for friendly advice and guidance. Your design can be tweaked until one month before your wedding date, when the full balance becomes payable

Every cake is coated in a smooth and delicious layer of milk, white or dark chocolate ganache before being iced and decorated, for extra sweetness and richness.

As well as a range of flavoured sponges and buttercreams, I also make all of my own curds and conserves. At your consultation we’ll talk through the flavour combinations that will best suit your style and tastes, but there’s something for everyone here, from the subtle and sophisticated to the downright decadent. MACARONS
Delicate and sophisticated, macarons are the ultimate in French sweet treats. These gluten-free beauties can be assembled into a towering stand-alone centrepiece, made in an elegant rainbow of shades or a subtle ombre to complement your colour scheme. If you’d like to have your cake and eat your macarons too (and who can blame you?) they also make perfect favours for you and your guests.
Macarons are made to order, and can be customised to include your favourite flavours. I try to keeps things seasonal so as to use only the freshest ingredients, but I’m always happy to experiment and create a new flavour just for you. Some of the most popular macaron flavours to leave my kitchen recently have been: Lemon, pistachio, salted caramel, raspberry, and lavender.
